TRENTHAM CAMP
_J 4 —. TCT Iffi FULLY USED AGAIN. Trentham Camp is to be used again to its full capacity by the end of tin present month, and Tauhorcnikau Camp will probably bo closed. "It lias been proved by events," said the Defence Minister yesterday, . "that Trentham Camp is perfectly healthy. We took recruits to Featherston and Tauherenikau, and cerebrospinal meningitis broke out among tlieni there. The. outbreak was not bad because the weather had improved. As a matter of fact, the occurrence of cerebrospinal meningitis is not caused by anytiling in Trentham Camp."
