WAR SHIRKERS IN IRELAND
DEBATE IN PARLIAMENT ANTICIPATED. Australian-New Zealand Gable Association. (Rec. October 7, 0.35 a.m.) London, October 6. Mr. Asquithi (tho Prime Minister) will move, for a. new war credit vote next week. It. is believed. that Mr. John Redmond (tho Irish Leader) will declare himself against conscription, but it is not improbable that a- national recruiting scheme will be suggested .in order to maintain the strength of the Irish regiments. . Tho Kerry County Council has passed, a resolution warning the Government that, tho enforcement, of conscription will result in turmoil and bloodshed.
