' 'V meeting of the- Wellington lootball Association was held last'evenmg, Mr W. Auld presiding, and thero were also present: Messrs. Duncan, O'Dnscoll, Leadbetto, and Williams. A letter was received from' Sergeant Bruce, of the 18th Reinforcements, asking that a game he arranged lor Saturday. It was decided that owing to tho Citizens' Christmas Gift.Fund Fete, to' ho held in tho Basin Reserve, that the request could not ho acceded The following were appointed to represent- tho city schools against -the country schools on Saturday, when an exhibition gamo will he played m aid of the Christmas' Gift Fund:—Goal, Howe (Island Bay): hacks, Jones (Clyde Quay), and Wanden (Wadestown): halves, V. Ward (Marist T.), E. Jeffry (Island Bay), and J. Burke fiVkrist N.): forwards, Nasli (Manst N.l, Maddoclcs (Mar.ir.ui), T. "Column (Marisfc N.), J. Griffins (Marist N.), and .Tamos (Worser Bav). Einorcenoics, Tftvlor (To Aro), Ledger (Island Bav). The kick-off will tako nlace .it 2.10 p.m., and the rcForco will he F. O'Connell. The final between 'L'liorndoii and Y.M.C.A., in the Fifth Division, will lie played at Anderson Park on Saturday at 3 p.m. Rcforco Mr. IT. Yeoman.
