SWEET TIPPERARY'S RUNNING AT LEVIN.
On receiving a telephone message to 1 say Sweet Tipperary had been beaten for the five-furlong race at Levin yesterday, Mr. T. Dwan sent an urgent telegram to the secretary, asking for nn inquiry into the matter, stating that_ he was not satisfied with the filly's running. Mr. Dwan is of opinion that this is not his filly's true form, as she was only beaten by a head by Egypt in a five-fur-long race at Wellington, ran in 59 4-ssec., and only last tfeek was Second in. the Wanganui Guineas/ having somo of the best horses in tho Dominion behind her, and yesterday was like a sheep at, the post, and hopped out well, but her running was not satisfactory, therefore the owners have asked for au inquiry into her running.
