DERBY FAVOURITE SOLD
KIT,BOY PURCHASED. BY MB./W. G. STEAD. By Telesraph-Press Associiation--Clopyrislit Sydney, September 28. Mr. W. G. Stead has purchased the Derby favourite Kilboy, and has sold a half intorest .to Mr. E. S. Lutrell. The price has not been disclosed, but it is stated to be a high one. (Reo. September 28, 9.10 p.m.) Sydney, September 28. ■ It is stated that tho price paid for. Kilboy is in the neighbourhood of 6000 guineas. , . [Killjoy, by Kilbroney—Showano, was bred and owned by Mr. J. B. Reid; tho well-known New Zealand breeder./ The horse had a sensational win in the Twenty-fourth Challenge Stakes at Riccarton last autumn, defeating a strong field by fivo lengths.]
