SurgconGoneral Henderson, Director of Medical Services, mentioned'on Saturday that as a result of a careful medical examination of ■ tho men of the Seventeenth Reinforcements five soldiers had been, isolated ou account of their being "carriers." Tho men concerned appeared healthy themselves, hut they were liable to transmit the germ of cerebrospinal meningitis to others. Proper treatment was being applied to them.
