EXPORT OF MEAT
Regarding meat export, the Minister :" of Agriculture, the Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald stated at-Hamilton that if : ;. nothing unforeseen' arises the present ' supplies in store will he shipped hefore the season opens. Half will he shipped almost immediately, and the : halance before'the end of the year. The latest ro'tums of meat in stores were: —North 'Island, 130,684 carcasses of mutton and lamb; 58,462 quarters of boef; South. Island, 896,089 carcasses of mutton and lamb; and 84,623 quarters of beef. x
