THE DENTAL CORPS
RATES OF PAY APPROVED. The following rates of pay have been approved for members of the New Zealand Dental Corps, with effect from November 7, 1915: —Lieutenant-colonel, 355. a day, plus ss. a day field allowance (if in camp); major, 31s. a day, plus ss. a day field allowance (if in camp); captain, 275. 6d. a day, plus 3s. 6d. a day field allowanco (if in camp); lieutenant, 225. a day, plus 3s. a day field allowance (if in camp). (Includes 10s. a day allowanco as tor' medical officers.) Dental mechanics (ranking as sergeants), 10s. 6d. a day without field allowance. -These rates are payable from' the date of going into camp. Dental officers proceeding to tho front receive the same outfit grant as other members of the Expeditionary Force, less cost of articles issued to them from Defence Stores. Tho outfit of dental officers on duty in camp is provided by the Department.
