The head of the column is due to pass the "saluting base in front of Government Buildings at 3 p.m.- sharp, and will follow the usual roate through the town and back to. the waterfront.". The public-is advised that the flags'are to be given to the' soldiers, preferably, of course, to those-. they are acquainted with,_ so that the parade may be made as picturesque'as possible. Other ladies 'are to sell : badges and flowers among the crowds that will 'line the route of 'the march, and the' Mayor requests that everyone who' can will' decorate their place of business suitably and so help to give the Seventeenths a hearty welcome to Wellinttfon. Those ladies who will be officially employed in selling flowers, badges, or flags will wear a distinguishing badge. Given fine weathar there should be; exhilarating scenes to be witnessed this afternoon. ' ! 'J .
