Ministry of Munitions in 'the United Kingdom. Mr. Myers is requested by the Imperial Government to certify to such orders from New Zealand as comply with certain conditions, as, 0.g., Bupplios needed for tho maintenance of , our primary industries. Engineering .. tools and supplies are defined as fol- . lows:—(a) All machino tools; (b) bor-Miinij-cutters, chucks, 'files, hacksaws, h lathe tools, measuring-tools, ; inillingN cutters, reamors, scrcwing-tacklcj slit- ' ting-saws, thread-milling hobs, and 'twist drills. It is not proposed to ex- ' ' tend the system of certification to ear-. . : penters' tools and certain classes of rougher tools, such as picks, shovels, ■ spanners, and articles of a like nature.
