* 7 At_ tho Sailors' Friend Society last evening, Mr. P. Fitzgerald gave another of his popular concerts. An item that met with much applause was the conjuring of Mr. Reg. Oakley. Much fun was oaused by tho antics of Messrs. Eller and Keany. Tlio efforts of Messrs. Threadgill, Emmett, and Connor were rewarded by ringing cbcers. Tho competitions again afforded keen pleasure. Mr. D. Miller was at the piano. . Mr. Moore, Missioner, was in the chair, and.ho spoke on the Temperance question.
