__— ; By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, September 18. Tho present Christchurch sittings of tho Arbitration Court will be remarkably brief with tho painters' dispute. Tho whole of tho business was concluded this morning in. less than two hours, as a result of complete agreement between. employers and employees in most of. the cases. The compensation cases had also .been sot down for hearing, but theso wcro settled with out rccourso to the Court.
