• . + — -V MORE RESTRICTIONS. / Tlio.Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. G. M r . Ruseoll) stated yesterday that a cablegram . had been . received from the Imperial !Aiithorities requesting tliafc no passports to' personß of alien enemy origin naturalised overseas shall bo issued, and that no passport shall be issued to any alien naturalised in Britain until the Home authorities liavo been commuiuoated with regarding the application. This decision, Mr. Russell said, would bo adhered to i strictly in New Zealand. Mr. Russell stated,-also, that it is now necessarv for a person desiring to travel from Wow Zealand to Canada to obtain a passjwrt. -This was the result of communications between-the Governments of Canada and New Zealand.
