RUGBY
A good deal 'of interest is being taken in the game between University and Petonc, at tho Park this afternoon, as on the result depends whether or not the latter team will retain top position and the season's championship. Despite the good form shown recently by the suburban team, the 'Varsity team lias been putting up some exceptionally fine, fast, open games, and they may possibly upset tho record of the Pot one plnyers. On No. 2 ground. Selwyn, which is one point behind Pctonc, may bo closely pressed by tho much-improved Wellington team. At Petonc considerable interest is being shown in a match between representatives of tho District High School and a schools' representative team from the Wairarapa, a match which has been given prido of place on the Petonc ground. On the second ground, Oriental and Old Boys meet.
