The damage done was inconsiderable." ! .A CHURCH BOMBED. REPRISAL DEMANDED. (Rec. September 15, 7.15 p.m.) Milan, September 11. Austrian aeroplanes flow over Venice and bombed the Santi Giovanni e Paolo Church. The pictures by Titian and Oarraccio had been removed. It was impossible to fully protect the Doges' burial places adjoining. A hospital was struck. The newspapers arc demanding reprisals. : [The Santi Giovanni e Paolo is an old Dominican cluirch erected in the Gothic style in 1330-90. - This was the burial place of the • doges, whose funeral service was performed here.]
