A very popular concert was given last night at the Sailors' Friend Societv bv Madame Mueller and party. A 6Uort story competition caused' much merriment. At the close of an enjoyable"'time a rote of thanks to tho performers was moved by the, Missioner (Mr. Moore), who presided, and responded to by Madame Mueller. The following were the performers: Madame Mueller, Misses Trim, Carter, Halliburton, Mueller, Gawlor, Messrs. Hayward and Trim. Miss Gawlor was accompanist.
