Merinos were firm, with prices unchanged. The following prices wero realised for tho fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named:—Ka, top prico 24d., average price 21d.; Ardkeen, 19d. and 18d.; Washdykc, 40d. and 39Sd. ' The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their Loudon house, under date September 13:— "Wool sales:' Market active. As compared with July 28, merino greasy superior, and medium are par to 5 per cent.: crossbred greasy 5 per cent., and slipe 2£ per cent, higher. Inferior and scoured and crossbred scoured, as well as greasy lambs, are par to 5 per cent, lower. Final series fixed for December 5." Messrs. Murray. Roberts, and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London agents, dated September 13:—"Merino greasy, goo<l advanced slightly: scoured, good and all inferior 'faulty wool, par to 5 per cent, decline."
