The Assembly has agreed to the expediency of introducing a Bill to give votes by proxy for the -General Elections to all soldiers at the front, irrespective of age. The Bill provides that a soldier must not vote for a candidate but for party: the labour vote to be handed to Mr. Holman, and the Liberal vote to Mr. Wade, and the Progressive vote to the Speaker, who will allot them to candidates.
