HENDERSON MEMORIAL CUP MATCH. Tho only 3rd Division cup-game on Saturday was played at Petone, tho contestants being Marist and Petone. Taking charge from the commencement the Marists showed v that they wero a much improved team since they last met Petone, and O'Sullivan, Conroy,and Marshall scorod goals in quick succession. After this reverse the suburban team livened up, and made several good rushes, but the Marists' defence was too good for them, Turner iu goal playing exceptionally well. No further score added before the spell ended. Upon resuming, play was of an even nature for some time, the Potono team playing better football, and bad luck preventod their scoring on two or three occasions. A long run by O'Sullivan resulted in another goal being added to Marists' score. Play slowed down towards the end of the game, and before the final whistle sounded O'Sullivan again scored, giving Marist tho victory by 5 goals to nil. The final will be played on Saturday next between Marist and Y.M.C.A. Fourth Division. Wadestown mot Y.M.C.A. A team and defeated them by 2 goals to 1. Wadestown attacked from the kick-off.
