NEW PLYMOUTH SUPREME COURT

Albert Edward Skallio, an old offender, was sentenced to .six months' imprisonment for forgery and uttering. In a Patea case, Neilson v. M'Kenna, alleged slander, a claim for £501, tlio jury was unanimous in finding for plaintiff for tho full amount. Leavo for defending counsel to argue certain law points was granted, to be hoard at Wanganui on Monday.
