INTO STORMBIR.D AND TONGA- - RIRO WRECKS. ■- The inquiry in connection with-the wreck of tho Stormbird at Wanganui entrance, on-tho night of September 2, has been fixed for September 13 at Wanganni. No 'assessors have so far been appointed. 1 The dato for tho inquiry in connection with tho wrecked Tongariro tfias not yet been fixed, as itnis not known when her captain and officers will be able to attend. Tho crew are,_ to be signed off and paid this morning at 10.30 o'clock, and arrangements are being made for those of the crew . who - wish to return to' England, to either get ,i' position on a Home boat or to j he sent Homo as distressed sailors.
