CHARGE OF THEFT
JURY FAIL TO AGREE. Bj Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, September 4. At the Supreme Court to-day the jury, after a four hours' retirement, failed ,to agree in the case against Sydney Martell, formerly manager of tho Hawke's Bay Fruit, Produce, and Cool Storago Company, charged with theft. The Crown will announce its intentions to-morrow morning.
