BRITISH CONTRACT WITH THE NORWEGIANS. Australian-New'Zealand Cable Association. Nov; York, September 3. The "New York Times" correspondent at Berlin says that there is resentment owing to a report that Norwegian shipowners have closed a contract to placo at t'ho immediate disposal of tho British Government fifty steamors of a total tonnage of 150,000 tons. It is believed that the contract is for a yoar, at tho rate of 4s. to ss. above current rates. Germany sees in this another move in Britain's oconomio war.
