LADIES' ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATIVE TEAM CHOSEN The games unto the auspices of the Ladies' Association advanced another stage on Saturday. In the senior game, University v. Public Trust, University won easily by 10 goals to 1. In the first spell 'Varsity opened well. The forwards carried play over tho halfway line, and after several attempts Miss Mander scored. Shortly after Miss Donovan added! another goal, whilo Miss Mander scored her sccona goal. In the second half University had things all their own way, and scores were put up 'by Misses Mander (3), Murphy (3), Tarrant (1), and Miss O'Leary scored for Public Trust.. Mr. Murphy was referee. In the eenior aameWellington Girls' Oollege v. Huatahi, Col logo won easily by 5 goals to nil. Huatahi could oulv muster nine players, and' had the bad luck to lose one of them just after the start of ( the seoond spell. In tho first spell Miss Alexander (2) and Miss Marcbbanks (1) scored for Girls' College, whilo in the seoond spell Miss Tracey (1) and Miss Geddis (1) added to the score, Mr. Manning acted as referee. The junior match .Ramblers v. Te Aro School proved very interesting from start to finish. The -play on both sides showed great improvement oil previous form produced by these teams. Ills defence was too good, and the game ended in a draw, neitner side scoring. Mr. Sherwood was referee. St. Augustine's juniors defeated Wellington Girls' College at Petono by seven goals to nil. Girls' College having only seven players, did well not to bo beaten by a greater margin. .Tho scorers for St. Augustine's were Miss Curtis (4), Miss Luoy Rodger (2), and Miss Avison (1). Mr. Perrier was referee. . Two matches have been arranged with Manawatu. The first will be played at Karori Park on Saturday next, and the return match will he played at Palmerston on Wednesday, September 13. After the ladies' games the selectors selected the following team: —Goalkeopor, Miss Gallagher (University), full backs, right Mi'bb Willetts (Ramblers), left Miss Bingham (University); halves, right Miss Murphy (University), centre Miss Wallace (University), left Miss Dick (Ramblers); forwards, right wing Miss Geddis (Wellington Girls' College), inside right Miss Israel (Public Trust), bully Miss Williams (Ramblers); inside left Miss Mander (University), loft wing Miss Lane (Ramblers); emergencies, forward Miss Pickering, back Miss B. Zoellcr (Girls' College).

MEN'S ASSOCIATION. Y.M.C.A. had. an easy win over University by 3 coals to nil. The scorers were Bousficlcl (2), Lance (1). Mr. Sherivoodl was referee. ■ Hutfc Valley met Karori, and in tlie first spell tho Valley men started well, getting two goals in a very short time. Just before' half-time Karori finished up a fine piece of play by scoring. In the second spell Valley added two more goals, thus winning by four goals to one. Tho scorers for Hutt Valley were F. Lusty (2), F.raser (1), Smith (1). Mr. Smith was referee. Tho Management Committee havo decided to'hold a five-a-side tourney next week, and 1 a Wellington' representative team will meet a representative team from Trentham next Saturday.
