ORIENTAL BEAT PETONE. Afc Athletic. Park on Saturday, Oriental beat Pctone by 16 points to 12. Oriental scored all their points in tho first spell, and as late in the game as ten minutes before tlio conclusion they were leading by 16 to 3. Petorie' were by that time playing really good Rugby, and tlicy scored three fine tries in quick succession. The two last tries were tho result of excellent passing rushes. For Oriental, Pratt (2), Vivian, and Fitzgerald scored, two of which Sullivan goaled. For Petone, tries were scored by Bowers (2), Bradley, and Corner. 'Sclwyn boat Athletic, at. Athletic Park, by 6 to 0. Solwyn's points consisted of tries by J. Haydon and Shearer.
