ZEPPELIN BROUGHT DOWN , IN LONDON
FLAMING WRECK SEEN BY LARGE CROWDS Australian-New Zoaland Cable Association. (Rec. September 3, 11.35 p.m.) London, September 3. Official.—Shortly before 11 o'clock at night, several airships attacked the eastern counties 'and dropped many bombs over widely-separated localities. The airships were more numerous than on any previous raid. Apparently their objective of attack was London. The raiders were beaten off. Ono was brought down in flames in the London district, its fall being witnessed by large crowds in the suburbs'. THE RUMANIAN ADVANCE SUCCESSFUL IN -ALL DIRECTIONS (Rec. September 3, 11.35 p.m.) Bucharest, .September 3. A Russian oflicial communique states: "We are successfully advancing in all directions. A Rumanian jU'ayor and polico authorities have been installed at Brasso. The railway station at Orsova is under our artillery fire. Our losses hitherto have been slight. Y\'o have taken prisoner fifteen bllicers and 1800 men." RUSSIAN WARSHIPS AT CONSTANZA (Bee. September 4, 0.30 a.m.) Petrograd, September 3. A section of the Russian fleet has arrived at tho Rumanian Black Sea port of Constanza.
