The Children's only opportunity to witness the most wonderful achievement in Photo Plays. TOWN HALL . (Large Hall) TOWN HALL Direction: J. C. WILLIAMSON, LTD. Mdnager: John Farrcll. THIS AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock sharp. TO-NIGHT at 8 o'clock sharp AND ON MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY J. C. Williamson, Ltd., present D, W. Griffith's Mighty Spectacle: which, next to the War and Wreck of the Tongariro, is the most talked of event in Wellington. "THE BIRTH OF A NATION" has created a profound impression upon all those who have witnessed its representation. The noble sacrifices of the men and women in South America, during the Civil War and the Negro Uprising, teaches us our duty to our country in the present great conflict. We will probably never see its like again, because "THE BIRTH OF A NATION" has reached the extreme limit in film photography. "THE BIRTH OF A NATION" is without any doubt the most stupendous, most realistic, most thrilling, and most expensive dramatic spectacle the world has yet, or ever will produce.' It is the duty of everybody to see at least ono representation of this gigantic film, bccause it will still be spoken of when all other "Star" Photo Plays are entirely forgotten. It cost Bs. 4d. for a seat in New York and 6s. in Sydney. Wellington Prices: ' _ _ ■ 3s n 2s. t Is, +♦ ls+ 3s. "Of course, I would," declared Miss Brunton, unhesitatingly. "Tliero is nothing else at all that I could adapt myself to. All other professions to mo are drab and uninviting. I am never so happy as when I am on tho stage. It is my whole existence. I heartily sympathise with every, girl who has to earn her living otherwise than as an actress."
