There is to bo some fun this evening when Goldin, in a disguise, will wander round a given area, and to the first person who recognises liiiu, and approaches him with tho words, "Are you Horace Goldin, the magician, now performing at the Grand Opera House?" will rcceivo a cheque for £25, and a season ticket for tho Goldin season in Wellington. The only other condition
attached to tho business ,is that tho detective lias to ho possessed of a ticket in the Ansiae Art Union, signed on the back by P. A. MfHardy. ' Sir. M'Hardy will be in tlio at tho same time and placo as Goldin, and will givo away half-sovereign's^
