The Commonwealth Government announces that the federal Parliament Architectural Competition is resumed on the original torms of the programme issued in June, 1914, excopt that the date for submission has been, fixed it January 31, 1917, and that subjects of enemy countries are ineligible. The vesting of the Orongo Orongo basin in the Wellington City Council for water supply purposes iB gazetted. 'A notice in the prohibits the use of the word Anzac in connection with any trade or business. This notice is issued under War Regulation 33, which gives the Governor power to prohibit the use, in connection with any trado or business, of any word hav-, ing relation to the present war, on the ground that the use of any suoli word for these purppseß may be offensive to publio sentiment.
