ASSOCIATION
SCHOOLS' REPRESENTATIVE, MATCHES. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association, held last evening, was presided over by Mr. A. E. Wells. Porirua A has won the schools championship in the country division with 10 points. This team has played five matches, and won five, with 44 goals for and nil against. Taiva Flat is sccond with 4 points, then come Johnsonville 1 point, and Porirua B 1 point. It was decided to play the third division Charity Cup fixtures on Saturday, when Brooklyn will meet St. David's at Potone.
Island Bay was awarded the matches in whioli Maranui, Kilbiraie, and Newtown had defaulted/ Nominations. were received from several schools of the names of players who would be willing to make tho trip to Christchurch. Six entries were received for the Boy Scouts' competition. A letter wae received from the Canterbury F.A., stating that the Sfchools Committee woro making arrangements for the visit of tho Wellington team. It was decided to hold trial games for school teams, and subsequently a team from City sohools will be chosen to meet representatives of suburban schools teams.
