Dunodln, August 30. At Hurnside to-day 220 fat cattle were yarded. The duality was good, but tho entry exceeded requirements. Prioea declined 15s. to 20a. Best bullocks, £18 to £20; ertra, £21 12s. 6d.; good, £14 10s. to £16 10s.; medium, £12 10a. to £13 10s.; best cows and heifers, £12 10s. to £14 10s.; medium to good, '£10 10s. to £12. Sheep (2350 penned). A large proportion were of good quality. Freezing buyers were operating, but in most cases prices.were beyond their limits. The demand was good, and prices equal to .last -week's rates. Best wethers, 365. to 385.; extra, 405.; good, 325. to 345. 6d.; medium, 295. to 315.;. best ewes, 345. to 365.; extra, 395.; medium to good, 275. to 30s. Lambs (32 penned)., Late rates were maintained., Pigs ('6 fats, and 33 storeß penned);- Competition was very keen.
