OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO THE FROM, A scheme has been approved to relieve a, number of theRN.Z.A. (Field Section), who"are still doing duty in New Zealand, and thus enable them to joim the Expeditionary Force and proceed "to'the front. For this purpose men will be recruited in the R.N.Z.A. (Field Section) for the period that the R'.N.Z.A. men are absent at the frrnt. These relieving men may be drawn from the following:—(a) Men at present do'irigdntyift training camps who are unfit for active service but fit for heme service; (b) men who offer their services' for'tho Expeditionary Force, but are passed out as unfit for active service but fit for. home service. Under this "scheme the Defence authorities are giving an opportunity to men Tufit for aotivo Service who wish to do something to help.'"",By responding to this fresh call they will bo enabling fit men. to proceed to the front who cannot otherwise" do'so. Eecruits will be asked for from the districts for tuis purpose- in about a week's time.
