The, Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Oommerco has received the following cablegram, dated' London, August 26. from the High Commissioner ,for Mew Zealand. (Note: Quotations, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot):— Meat.—All descriptions of frozen meat aro in small supply. There is no material change in. the market; prices remain unchanged. New Zealand mutton, per lb., 85d.; ewe mutton, 81d.; Argentine mutton, 9{d.; N.Z. lamb, 9Jd.; Argentine lamb, lid.; Patagonian, exceptionally, UJd. There aro no quotations for N.Z. beef, owing to, short supply. Argentine chilled beef: Hinds, 9id.; fores, 7d. Butter:—The market continues firm.
