After ■ three hours' retirement tha jury returned, and His Honour remarked that the necessary timo having elapsed ho was ready to accept a three-fourths agreement. The foreman announced that there was no likelihood of their agreeing at- all, and, with the consent of both parties, the jifry was discharged, and the case ordered to stand over till next session.
