Dr. Uarmirdo's Home will benefit by the substantial sum of, £14 7s. 6d. wnich was collected by the eighty children, who are membors of the Y.H. League, and who attend the Eastern Hutt and tho District High School at Lower HuEt. Tho ladies 'Of the committee provided afternoon tea, and tho children themselves supplied the items for a musical programme, and altogether a very pleasant afternoon was spent. This was the first opening of tho children's money-boxes, and considering tho many calls at the present time, tho resultwas most satisfactory.
