CHARGE OF CATTLE STEALING

Davis Ormond Sniith, a farmer, formerly of, Tahoraitc, was committed for trial in the Supreme Court for alleged theft of four heifers, the property of.M. P. Knight. Bail was allowed in £200. The cattle the subject of the charge l were sold ac defendant's clearing sale, two being purchased "by Mr. Knight. Subsequent investigation led to the prosecution. ,Smith pleaded' not guilty.
