KHANDALLAH DEBATING SOCIETY

' , "That moving pictures are of great educational value" was the title of a debate/ taken by members of the above society at its meoting on Tuesday. The affirmativo was taken by Messrs. E. N. M. Hogben, C. Jones, and J. M. Dale, and the negative by Messrs. A. Evans,'A. E. Budd, and E. Hobbs. Mrs. Page, Miss Batham, Messrs. S. P. Curtis, G. Burt,. J. H. Meadowcroft, and J. H. Richardson also took part. On the resolution being put to the meeting the affirmative was lost by the casting vote of the chairman. On Tuesday next Mr. H. L. James will give a Dickens evening.
