SURGEON-GENERAL HENDERSON
TERM OF OFFICE EXTENDED.
The term of office of Surgeon-General R. S. F. Henderson, K.H.P., R.A.M.G., Director of Military Services in New Zealand, will expire next month. • It has, however, been arranged that Surgeon-General Henderson shall remain in ,Ncw Zealand until the end of tho war.' "I am extremely grateful to him for staying," said tho Minister of Defence (Hon. J. Allen) in making the announcement. "He has dons his work exceedingly well, and it has been a source of great satisfaction that wo have had such an experienced officer us. His was a difficult job, and he has carried it out very successfully.' \
