1 SOt-li DRAFT SHORT BY 50 IN- . PANTRY. The City quota of iho Twentieth Reinforcements left for Feathcrston Camp yesterday. The draft is fifty infantry short. In all, 186 infantry were required, 196 were called, 126 paraded, ten who were anxious to get into camp at once were accepted, and so the shortage stands at fifty. Other arms are full. The following have been passed as fit for military service:— F. G. S. King, photographer, Newtown. T. B. Wilson, seaman, City. R. A. Robertson, joiner. City. A. A. Jones, labourer, _ Hastings. R. G. Havwood, bookbinder, City. J. M'Mullin, City. G. Pegley, engineer, Island Bay. SOUTHLAND SHORTAGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Inveroarglll, August 22. For the Twentieth Reinforcements there is a shortage of thirty-one in the infantry, tho quota of which is ninety-one.
