ANGLO-BELGIAN OPERATIONS. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association, (Rec. August 19, 7.5 p.m.) PariSi August 19. A Belgian official communique states: "Colonel Molitor has occupied Saint Michael, and established communication with tho British from Muanza. The Anglo-Belgian and Belgian flotillas captured Kagoma and XJjiji. Colonel Molitor has occupied Fuischugi, one hundred kilometres (60 miles) eastward of Kagoma. One hundred of tho enemy were'killed, some Germans were taken prisoner, and two naval guns and other booty were captured. "MORE MEN." APPEAL BY GENERAL BOTHA. (Rec. August 20, 5.5 p.m.) Johannesburg, August 20. General Botha has appealed to the recruiting committees to redouble their efforts in order to shorten tho East African campaign, and also because the Imperial Govornmont is anxious that ,the overseas brigade l should be reinforced when General Smuts's requirements have been supplied.
