Mr. H. W. Forster, Financial Secretary to the AVar Office, stated in the House of Commons that more than 8000 Military Medals have been awarded in France alono sinco the order was instituted in March. Distinguished Conduct Medals havo 'been issued at an average rate of 300 a mcnth.
