Melbourne, August 17. Mr. P. W. Tewkesbury, who has returned from a trip abroad, states that while he was in London, two days before Lord Kitchener was drowned, ho was in the same liospital as Lord Kitchener's valet, and the ; latter told a number of persons that he was going to Russia with Lord Kitchener.
