SOME ALTERATIONS OUTLINED,
Owing to the efficiency of the Army Service Corps organisation now established in Now Zealand by the Defence Department.,■ and to the assistance rendered to tho military authorities by the Supplies Purchase Office, the TTon. Minister of Defonco and the Hon. Minister in Charge of Munitions and Supplies have been able to approve, of recommendations made whereby certain economies have been effected, and tho present Director of Supplies and Transport (Major Wright) granted leave to accompany tho Expeditionary Forces in September next.
After tho departure of Major Wright, all business connected with the purchase or stilfl 1 of siVplies or sl-ores renuired. for war purposes will he. _conducted from the New Zealand Military Supplies Purchase Office, which is under tlio control of the Hon. A: M. Myers, and whose lion, advisers in this connection are the memWs of tho Supplies Board of Advice (Messrs. A. H. J!ile«. Alexander Macintosh, and Genrpre Wilson).
