SEVERAL BAGS BURNT The following message has been received from Mr. Malcolm Ross, New Zealand's official war correspondent:— August 10. "Since last cabling there has been a comparative quiet on the Now Zealand frout, and tho percentage of casualties has fallen considerably. "Several bags of an incoming Now Zealand mail wero accidentally burnt in a railway truck, it is thought by a lire which originated through matches in a postal packet."
