APOLOGY TO SWEDEN

Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. (Rec. August 13, 5.5 p.m.) Copenhagen, August 12. Russia has apologised to Sweden for torpedoing the German steamer Cyria in Swedish waters, and has dismissed the submarine commander ; responsible for the incident.
