PETONE COURT

At Petone. yesterday, before Messrs. J. AV. M'Ewan and R. W. Short, J.P.'s, Hubert Sims, charged with being drunk and resisting the police, was' convicted and discharged 011 the first charge, and was fined 20s. (in default seven days' imprisonment) for the second offence. Herbert Henry Garrett and Bernard Mitchell M'Kenna were 1 charged with being idle and disorderly persons, with no lawful visible means of support. Garrett was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment, and ■M'Kenna to fourteen, days' imprisonment.
