In consequonce 'of Mr. Asquith declining to receive a deputation from the National Union of l'aihvaymcn regarding iood control, the union's executive has resolved to request the railway companies to advance wages 10s. per week, and placing the. responsibility on the Government for its inaction regarding food prices.
