SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

The Brooklyn Serenades gave an entertainment of vocal and instrumental items'at the Sailors' Friend Society last night. The performers were Messrs. C. Dalton, W. M'Kinstry, F. Brown, A. Piakefct, L. Shaddick, H. Biggs, F. Bird; IV. Man ley, E. Barnett, Ross, L. Neville (Edgar Luckenbach). Mr Moore expressed his thanks and that of the committee for recent gifts of books for the men at sea. He also announced that the eleventh anniversary iof the opening of the Institute will be celebrated! on August 94_ when tho Minister of Marine will preside.
