MEETING,
Sir. A. E. Wejls presided at a meeting of" the Football Association, held last evening. It was arranged to play all schools' matches to-morrow as arranged for last week.
A lotter was received from tho City Council granting permission to' play a match on the Basin Reserve on Saturday, August 12, in aid of the "Jutland Fund." A condition was' made that the referee should stop the game if the public encroaches on tho grass next to the playing ground. A request was mado by the Porirua team that one of the semi-finals' should bo played at. Porirua. It was decided to hold tho matter over for a fortnight. Owing to Mr. Varney's repeated absence from committee meetings his seat ha s become vacant. The secretary was instructed to arange for nominations to fill the position.
. The secretary was instructed to send a letter of thanks to Mr. Ross, director of the Boys' Institute, for his donation of a cup to lie competed for by Sixth Division teams. Entries for the Charity Clip competitions will- close on August 20. All fees in connection therewith are due on that date. . It was announced that Taw a Plat had beaten Porirua B by 4 goals to nil.
