SPINAL MENINGITIS

ANOTHER DEATH IN CAMP. Another death from cerebrospinal meningitis occurred at Trentham Camp on Tuesday afternoon. In making this, announcement yesterday, Surgeon-General Henderson, Di-rector-General of Medical Services, stated that there was also one other suspicious case at Trentham. There were no other cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis or suspected, cerebrospinal meningitis at either Trentham Camp or Featherston Camp. The patient who had been suffering at Featherston had now recovered, and passed tho Medical Board prior to discharge. General Henderson stated that every precaution was being taken at both camps to prevent any further cases occurring.
